About the Blog

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the change it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”  – Maya Angelou

When I turned 30, I began a journey of reflection. I had published my first novel, yet I believed my life had not lived up to the expectations I created during my 20’s.  I’ve spent the last 5+ years looking back on my life and discovering my choices, my mistakes, and my beliefs I owned in my 20’s that are responsible for where I stand today. This reflection has not only helped me into building the person I desire to be, but the journey has uncovered a sense of peace and happiness that I can now embrace. “Everything I Did Wrong in my 20’s…” celebrates the choices that have shaped me into the 35+ woman I am today.
